Long An leaders checks operation of field hospital and concentrated isolation area
On March 6, Vice Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa came to check the operation of the field hospital and the concentrated isolation area which were located at the provincial Military School (in Ben Luc townlet, Ben Luc district). This is an activity to find out the difficulties and problems in the first days of operation and take timely remedies.

Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 688/QD-UBND dated March 4, 2020 on establishing a field hospital and an isolation area to prevent and control Covid-19 diseases; scale of 100 beds, with legal status and own seal.
The field hospital and the concentrated isolation area have the function of receiving, monitoring and quarantining within 14 days for people who are at risk of returning from epidemic areas and receiving, collecting, treating and quarantining people with Covid-19 disease.
After checking, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa proposed the Board of Directors of the field hospital and the isolation area to focus on well implementing the medical declaration form. The Border Guard is requested to closely control epidemics in the border areas adjacent to Cambodia.
The Provincial Military Command hosts and coordinates the concerned agencies and units to fully prepare accommodation, daily activities, material facilities and means of transport and create favorable conditions for the Vietnamese people who came back from the epidemic region to be isolated. At the same time, it coordinates with related agencies to organize to transport, receive and manage the isolated people.
Department of Health hosts and directs the availability of medical examinations, health checks, and categorization of all cases of immigration. When the suspected cases are detected, they are immediately quarantined, taken samples for testing, organized treatment for the patients strictly according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health.
Department of Natural Resources and Environment focuses on implementing the wastewater treatment system and incinerator according to regulations./.
