Long An leaders pay courtesy greetings to representatives of Ibaraki prefecture, Japan

On June 22, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vice Chairman of People's Committee of Long An province - Pham Tan Hoa and leaders of some provincial departments and branches paid courtesy visit to Mr. Ishii Keita - representative of Ibaraki prefecture (Japan) on the occasion of his new term in Vietnam.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa congratulated Mr. Ishii Keita for being appointed as a representative of Ibaraki prefecture in Vietnam. He believed that during this term, Mr. Ishii Keita would promote cooperation in many fields between Ibaraki province and Vietnamese partners, especially Long An province.

Mr. Pham Tan Hoa hoped that Long An and Ibaraki would continue to support Long An's candidates coming to Ibaraki to work at health care centers this year as well as implementing the next batch of Ibaraki Course Program. In particular, the two sides wiould expand the labor cooperation to many other programs such as high-quality engineer program.

During his tenure in Vietnam, Mr. Ishii Keita pledged to connect Ibaraki businesses investing in Long An province not only in the labor sector but also in other fields such as tourism, food; etc.

In the past two years, although heavily influenced by the Covid-19 pandemic, Vietnam and Japan have also cooperated to organize the selection and training of 13 candidates in the first batch of the Ibaraki Course Program. Up to now, the first phase of this program has been almost completed, candidates are waiting to complete their resumes to work in Ibaraki./.
