Deputy Director of Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs - Nguyen Dai Tanh presided at Long An end-point bridge
Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, Vinh Long University of Technology and Education, Ibaraki Foreign Worker Support Center, Vietnam - Japan Human Resource Development Office (VJCC) and Japanese enterprises attended the forum. Deputy Director of Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs - Nguyen Dai Tanh presided at Long An end-point bridge.
At the forum, Long An provided detailed information on the province's efforts in training human resources to work abroad, especially in Japan. Long An has abundant human resources, accounting for 63 percent of the population. Trained workers reached 72.1 percent, of which, workers with degrees reached 31.02 percent.
In 2020, the Provincial People's Committee promulgates the Scheme on sending workers to work abroad in the period of 2020 - 2025, in which, Japan is the place where Long An workers focus. The province strives to send 1,000 people to work abroad each year, including 350 qualified and skilled workers to work abroad.
Recently, Long An province and Ibaraki prefecture have coordinated to implement a program on sending Long An employees to Ibaraki to work. The employees in the program are high-quality workers, well-trained by Long An province in technical expertise, Japanese language, working style, law and necessary skills according to regulations, etc. After successfully completing their work in Japan, the employees will continue to learn more to become key officials and work as middle and senior managers, technical officers at enterprises of Ibaraki prefecture or Japanese enterprises in Long An.

At the forum, Vinh Long University of Technology and Education also introduced them as well as emphasized the cooperation relationship between the university with Long An and Japan.
Speaking at the forum, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs - Nguyen Dai Tanh hoped to strengthen mutual understanding between Long An and Ibaraki as well as the business communities of the two localities. He emphasized that Long An will continue to promote the training of the province's human resources to meet the needs of local economic development, provide human resources to work in Japan as well as promote the deepening and widening cooperation between the two localities./.
