Long An leaders visit & work in Quang Ngai province

Secretary of the Long An Party Committee cum Chairman of People’s Council Pham Van Ranh; Chairman of People’s Committee Tran Van Can and representatives of departments, agencies are visiting & working in the central province of Quang Ngai starting March 14 to 18.

The five day visit aims to share experiences in attracting investment for building and developing the economic zone (EZ) and the open economic zone in the central provinces of Quang Nam, Quang Ngai.

The delegation visited also high tech agricultural models; historic cultural sites in Quang Tri, Nghe An provinces.

The delegation worked with Quang Ngai’s leaders and at the meeting, Mr. Pham Van Ranh shared Long An’s socioeconomic development and its plan in attracting the investment and development of industrial clusters, contributing in economic restructuring towards industrialization and modernism.

Mr. Ranh said Long An province is seeking the solutions to develop the economic zones. On this occasion, Mr. Ranh invited Quang Ngai’s leaders to visit Long An in order to study and cooperate, share experiences in many various fields.

Management Boards of the Dung Quoc Economic Zone and other industrial zones in Quang Ngai provinces shared experiences and special policies in building and running efficiently the zones.

On behalf of Quang Ngai province, secretary of Quang Ngai Party Committee Le Viet Chu expressed his pleasure about the Long An’s visit, promising that Quang Ngai’s delegation will soon visit Long An province.

On this occasion, Long An delegation toured to large scale companies such as the Hoa Phat Dung Quat iron and steel production complex, Doosan Vietnam Company at the Dung Quat Economic Zone.

Long An delegation will continue visiting Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Company Ltd, member of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Vietnam Petro) after ending the visit to the central province of Quang Ngai on March 18./.
