On the side of Long An province, there was the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Pham Van Ranh; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Van Duoc; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Tran Van Can; Head of the National Assembly Delegation in Long An province, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - Truong Van No; leaders of departments, branches and localities.

The Cambodian delegation consisted of the leaders of Svay Rieng province, Prey Veng province, the generals and officers of the Royal Cambodian Army.

In 2019, Long An province achieved many positive results, the economic growth rate was quite high (9.41%). Per capita income reached 72.67 million VND/person/year. Social security was guaranteed; defence and security was maintained; external relations were expanded, built and preserved the border line of peace, friendship, cooperation and development.

These positive results also have a great contribution from the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Long An with the Central agencies and the two provinces of Svay Rieng and Prey Veng.

In the year, all levels and sectors of Long An, Svay Rieng and Prey Veng provinces made great efforts to bring the traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation more and more deep in many fields, contributing to the socio - economic development of each province.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Long An People's Committee - Tran Van Can believed that the three provinces would cooperate more effectively, focus on promoting the development of commerce and services, especially in the border areas; continue to create favorable conditions to accelerate the demarcation of the remainder; contribute to the construction and preservation of the border line of peace, friendship, cooperation and development.

He also thanked the Cambodian delegation for extending greetings on Lunar New Year and giving meaningful gifts to Long An province. He hoped that the traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation between the people of the two countries of Vietnam - Cambodia in general and the three provinces: Long An - Svay Rieng - Prey Veng in particular would increasingly develop sustainably./.
