Long An promotes investment cooperation and dialogue with Japanese business in 2022

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut said that after nearly 50 years since the two countries Vietnam and Japan established diplomatic relations in 1973, the exchange activities between the two countries have been increasingly expanded and became into depth. Currently, Japan's existing FDI projects in Long An are constantly expanding their scale and increasing investment capital. This shows that Japanese businesses still put their faith in the investment environment of Long An. In the province, there are 131 projects from Japanese enterprises operating with an investment capital of about USD 479 million. These projects are mainly concentrated in districts of Duc Hoa, Ben Luc, Can Giuoc and Tan An city, which are key industrial development districts of the province. Japanese projects have also made important contributions to the local socio-economic development.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut affirmed that the province always accompanied with businesses as the message of the Long An province government.

At the conference, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment - Huynh Van Son conveyed a lot of information about the potential, advantages and development orientation of the province. On this occasion, Chief Representative of the Japan Trade Promotion Agency - Ho Chi Minh City Office - Matsumoto Nobuyuki presented the forecast of investment trends in the coming time. Besides, the representative of the Foundation of  Youth Empowerment (FYE) - Nguyen Cam Chi presented on innovation and human resource promotion.

Within the framework of the conference, the government of Long An province had a meeting with Japanese investors and businesses operating in Long An province. On this occasion, businesses recommend and propose to solve difficulties in order to help businesses operate better and better.

At the conference, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Long An province - Saigon Telecommunications Technology Joint Stock Company - the Foundation of  Youth Empowerment signed a memorandum of cooperation on research, training, and human resource development; SaiGonTel - ISPACE Cybersecurity College signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in training skilled human resources according to Japanese standards and human resource supply.
