Long An to host Rice Festival in December

Long An leaders hope to introduce the potentials of the province through the festival

The festival includes plenty of activities such as an exhibition named "Export of local rice to the world"; exhibitions of machinery and equipment for agricultural production and processing; seminars on current situations and solutions to drought and salinity intrusion.

This event is regarded as a good chance for enterprises, domestic and international investors to meet, promote their products, exchange experience and seek cooperation opportunities. Besides, provinces in Mekong Delta region will promote their agricultural products, especially rice.

The festival will also introduce and show the potentials as well as strengths in the fields of economy, culture and society of Long An province in particular and other localities in the region in general, said Deputy chairman of Long An province People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc./.
