By September 4, the province had implemented to inject 1,009,866 Covid-19vaccine shots, including 948,915 first shots and 60,951 second shots. According to Director of Long An Department of Health - Huynh Minh Phuc, people came to the injection sites early, it did not take time for the injection teams to wait. Many localities reached 100 percent on the first day such as Chau Thanh, Tan Tru, Thanh Hoa, etc. and are currently continuing to implement vaccination as planned.
Up to the present, the injections are safe, only a few common mild reactions after the injection have been recommended such as headache, muscle pain, fatigue, fever, chills, etc. These signs are usually mild and itself disappaered within a few days after the injection.
