Long An's investment and trade promotion delegation visits Vietnamese Embassy in Japan

At the meeting, Vietnamese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Japan - Pham Quang Hieu said that currently, Japan is one of Vietnam's leading economic partners with more than 5,100 projects, total investment capital reaching over 71 billion USD, export and import turnover in 2022 reached nearly 50 billion USD and ranks third in investment in Vietnam.

Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long An - Truong Van No on behalf of the delegation introduced the highlights of Long An province in terms of geographical location, economic development potential and open investment attraction policies. Currently, Japan ranks 5th in total investment capital among 40 countries and territories investing in Long An, with 142 projects, total registered capital of over 800 million USD.
