At the meeting, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Long An province - Truong Van No informed the expected contents at the 7th session of the 14th National Assembly. 

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Van Canh reports on socio-economic situation and investment attraction in the province.

To be more particular, economy continues to achieve positive results in many fields. Investment promotion has been focused, so it has achieved initial results. Investment environment has been improved. The Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) of Long An ranks the 3^rd in the whole country.

At present, Long An has 28 industrial parks (IPs), of which 16 IPs are operating. Besides, there are 62 planned industrial clusters (ICs), of which 22 ICs put into operation. Some major investors are also implementing investment procedures in the province.

However, Long An still faces some difficulties. Therefore, in the coming time, the province will focus on solving problems to promote socio-economic development.

On this occasion, some enterprises informed about difficulties related to the planning of solar energy projects and solar electricity prices; Planning Law; time for implementing some investment procedures; investment in transport infrastructure, BT and BOT projects; loan policy; brand building and agricultural markets, and so on.

According to the member of National Assembly, Standing Deputy Prime Minister - Truong Hoa Binh, the National Assembly will discuss and consider many important decisions, including many guidelines and policies on the operation of enterprises.

The Government will implement many vital targets in the socio-economic development and research on specific policies for the growth of the Mekong Delta.

Besides, the Party and State always make efforts to improve policies, institutions, administrative reforms, anti-corruption, etc. to create favorable conditions for the enterprises.

The Government, relevant ministries and agencies will discuss to resolve matters on development of renewable energy and high-tech applications in agriculture, investment in transport infrastructure in the Mekong Delta, etc.

The National Assembly Delegation also took note of the enterprises’ proposals and will transfer them to the relevant agencies./.
