NA Delegation of Long An met departments, branches before XVth NA’s third session

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of Provincial Delegation of NA – Nguyen Thanh Hai asked the relevant agencies to quickly resolve the voters' petitions in the locality

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut and representatives of leaders of departments and branches attended the meeting.

The XVth NA’s third session is scheduled to open on May 23, 2022 and close on June 17, 2022 at the NA House.

Before this meeting, the Delegation of the NA of Long An province held 15 voter meetings with the participation of about 1,642 people. The delegation received more than 140 times of opinions from voters and agencies and organizations on law-making; anti-corruption; the situation of socio-economic development; national defense-security; social order and safety; social security, Covid-19 epidemic prevention; etc.

At the meeting, representatives of departments and branches explained the issues of "delayed" projects in the districts located in the key economic regions of the province; consumption and prices of agricultural products; increasing gasoline, oil and electricity prices; management of prices of agricultural materials; investment, upgrading and expansion of dynamic roads passing through Long An province such as National Highway N2, National Highway 62, Ho Chi Minh road, Ring Road 3; wastewater treatment, domestic waste, especially in industrial zones and clusters.

In addition, the departments and branches reported difficulties and proposed adjustments to complete the Law on Environmental Protection in 2020; the regulations on codes and professional title standards for public preschool and school teachers to be consistent with the provisions of Decree No. 89 of the Government to suit the locality. Central ministries and branches were proposed to negotiate and support investment capital to build 3 bridges on Provincial Road 827E (Can Giuoc, Vam Co Dong and Vam Co Tay bridges), etc.
