On February 15, Chairman of the People's Committee of Long An province, Head of the Working Group to implement Project 06 - Nguyen Van Ut chaired an online conference to summarize the 1-year implementation of the Project to "Develop data applications in population, electronic identification and authentication serving national digital transformation in the 2022 - 2025 period, with a vision to 2030” (referred as Project 06); implement orientations and tasks in 2023.

The implementation of Project 06 is identified as an important task, contributing to promoting administrative reform, serving socio-economic development, supplementing and enriching population data, serving direction and control activities of leaders at all levels,etc, contributing to saving, fighting waste, creating the most favorable conditions for people and businesses in the province. Up to now, the key works of the project have basically been ensured, on schedule and obtained initial positive results, which people and businesses agree, support and appreciate. The system of equipment and human resources to serve the implementation of Project 06 is arranged by the province, through which the implementation process basically meets the requirements.

15/15 district-level units, 188/188 commune-level units and 997 hamlets and neighborhoods have propagated the contents related to Project 06 in general and 25 essential public services in particular. There are 11/11 public services of the police force deployed and implemented. For public services of provincial departments and branches, 13/14 essential services have been deployed (there is still a procedure for renewing and re-granting a driver's license). Particularly, online public services are deployed with many specific solutions, accordingly, reducing the online application fee by 50% and drastically directing agencies and localities in the province to take the first week of every month to launch activities to propagate, guide and solve administrative procedures online.

In addition, the data center is invested to ensure the requirements of centralized and unified management to serve the whole province, according to the private-use cloud computing model, in accordance with the data center standards as prescribed. During the year, the province focused on completing and implementing technical solutions to build the province's shared database warehouse.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut requested the Public Security branch and related agencies to review and consolidate the Working Group to deploy Project 06 to the grassroots and at the same time, continue to propagate and deploy to make people better understand about the project. Simultaneously, Public Security branch and related agencies must organize training instructions to create human resources in information technology application. In addition, relevant departments and branches must continue to advise, guide and urge the implementation of digitization; focus on effectively implementing online public services and piloting the digital transformation model.../.
