Provincial People's Council prepares to hold meeting at the end of 2020

Provincial People's Council meeting to review the content and the preparation for the 24th meeting

Expectedly, the 24th session (the meeting at the end of 2020), the provincial People's Council session IX, term 2016-2021, will be held in 2 days of December 7 and 8, 2020, through many important contents including 65 reports, submissions and draft resolutions. 

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Council will discuss and consider the 5-year socio-economic situation in 2016-2020 and the socio-economic development plan for the year 2021-2025; the State budget estimate for 2021; plans to allocate local budget expenditures and supplement the provincial budget to the district, town and city budgets in 2021; results of the resolution of citizens' complaints and denunciations by 2020; explain and listen to opinions and recommendations of voters before the 23rd session of the provincial People's Council session IX.

The Provincial People's Council will also consider issuing resolutions on approving civil servant payrolls in 2021 and the number of people working in public non-business units by 2021; establishment of the Office of National Assembly Delegation, Provincial People's Council. At the same time, it approved the investment policy of Provincial Road 830E; the Office of District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Thu Thua district; the Office of Tan Thanh District Party Committee; infrastructure, base and services for smart urban of the province in phase 1; shared database warehouse of the province of phase 1; etc.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of People's Council of Long An province - Nguyen Van Duoc suggested that the Provincial People's Committee, the committees of the provincial People's Council and related departments and branches have to do well the preparation. In particular, focusing on reviewing and completing reports and submissions on time and ensuring good meeting conditions./.
