Secretary of Long An Party Committee urges businesses to agree and join hands with localities to fight Covid-19
On July 12, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Long An province - Nguyen Van Duoc met and had a dialogue with some companies in Ben Luc district in implementing Official Letter 6619/UBND-VHXH for ensuring safety and preventing epidemics in production activities at enterprises in the province.

On July 11, the Long An People's Committee issued Official Letter No. 6619/UBND-VHXH on ensuring safety for epidemic prevention and control in production activities at enterprises in the province. Accordingly, the province requested companies and businesses that have recorded cases of F0 and F1 to immediately suspend operations to focus on tracing, zoning, isolating and overcoming limitations according to regulations prescribed.
For companies and enterprises that have built and implemented the production organization with the motto "3 on site - production on the site, eating on the site and resting on the site ", they will continue to operate normally. The remaining companies and enterprises (which have not yet implemented the production organization under the motto "3 on the site"), they must develop and implement the production organization under the motto "3 on the site" according to the guideline at the latest time by 00 o'clock on July 13, 2021.
At the meeting, businesses all agreed with the direction of the province in epidemic prevention and control. In addition, businesses also have many questions about how to implement the "3 on site" option, especially accommodation for workers; specialist transportation; difficulties in testing for Covid-19 for workers and the problem of ensuring food for workers during their stay at the companies, etc.
The questions of businesses are specifically answered by the authorities. Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Van Duoc said that we hoped businesses will have the support, coordination and share in common efforts of the province in the past time in the face of the current complicated and unpredictable epidemic situation so that the epidemic can be quickly repelled to protect the health of workers and soon restore production.

On the same day, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Van Duoc also gave money to support freelance workers in Ben Luc district according to Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP of the Government on implementating some policies supporting workers and employers facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
It is known that the support level will be 50,000 VND per person per day, multiplied by the total number of working days lost or affected income due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It is expected that Long An will have about 20,000 freelance workers supported.
The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested localities to quickly support and promptly share people's difficulties in the current situation./.
