In the first quarter of 2021, the Standing Committee of Tan Thanh District Party Committee focused on specific tasks and tasks for the year 2021, directed, run and stepped up solutions to implement the targets and achieve some results. 

In the economic field, the total sowing area is over 52,000 hectares, reaching over 73 percent of the year plan. The district implemented 13 rice models applying high technology with an area of over 761 hectares; other crops continued to cultivate with a total area of over 610 hectares, fruit trees over 1,520 hectares; basic construction plans have been focused on implementing, performing 21 out of 93 items of district level works; State budget revenue reached nearly 46 percent of the district estimate.

In the field of culture - society, the district focused on fully implementing social security policies, taking care of policy families with the total amount of nearly 6 billion VND. National defense and security were maintained, recruiting soldiers reached 100 percent of the target. The district well implemented measures to prevent and control Covid-19 epidemic. It basically completed the work of introducing candidates for People's Council members at all levels, tenure 2021 - 2026.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc highly appreciated the results achieved in all areas in the past time of Tan Thanh district, especially the early months of 2021. In the coming time, he suggested the Standing Committee of Tan Thanh District Party Committee to focus on implementing the Resolution of the XIth Congress of Provincial Party Committee and the Resolution 2021 of the province and districts.

At the same time, the district led to well perform the election of members to the XVth National Assembly and all-level People's Councils for the term 2021 - 2026. It implementedof site clearance well, created a clean land fund to attract investment. It mobilized the whole political system to perform the political tasks set out, with new way of thinking, dynamic and creative work. It created unity in leadership. It directed cadres, civil servants and public employees to perform drastic work right from the beginning of the year; avoided the situation to put work at the end of the year; contributed to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the province and districts in 2021 and the following years./.
