On June 28, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Pham Van Ranh offered a courtesy visit to the Vietnamese Embassy in the Federal Republic of Germany. He wished Embassy staff to fulfill the foreign tasks assigned by the Party and the State.

He informed about the socio-economic situation, potentials and strengths of Long An province for the Embassy to provide necessary information of the investment environment of the province for German businesses.

At the same time, he proposed the Embassy to strengthen support for Long An province in promotion activities, connect German investors and businesses to the province as well as support local businesses in access to potential market in Germany.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Germany is willing to respond the proposals of the province, said the Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany - Nguyen Minh Vu.

During this trip, the delegation of Long An province will sign a memorandum of understanding with Leipzig city government and organize an investment promotion conference to connect businesses in Long An province and Germany.

Besides, they will visit some high-tech models in industrial and agricultural production, waste and wastewater management, renewable energy and environmental technology to get useful experiences to effectively apply for investment attraction and economic development in the fast and sustainable direction of the province in the coming time./.
