Long An signs cooperation agreement with Sacramento City

Sacramento Major -Darrel Steinberg expressed his pleasure about the visit of Long An province’s delegation.

Mr. Nguyen Van Ranh thanked for warmly welcome from Sacramento leaders and introduced Long An province as key southern economic zone in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam as well as the provincial’s social economic achievements to Sacramento leaders.

Mr. Ranh said Long An always pays attention to the relationship between Long An and Sacramento City.

On this occasion, Mr. Ranh invited Sacramento’s delegation to visit Long An province.

Long An province and Sacramento city signed cooperation agreement on the day. Accordingly, the two sides pledged to create favorable conditions about trading development; boost investment in the fields such as hi-tech agriculture, industry, solar power, education and training…

The visit also aimed to open new cooperation between the two sides, strengthening friendship relations between the two countries in new integration & development period.

Mr. Ranh witnessed the signing of cooperation contracts between Long An’s enterprises and US businesses (in cities: Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland) in the fields: agricultural processing, hi-tech electronics, waste treatment…/.
