Seven resettlement areas planned for HCMC Ring Road 4

Tay Ninh Province has outlined a plan for seven resettlement areas totaling roughly 74.9 hectares, with about 3,371 plots to accommodate households displaced by site clearance for the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project.

On August 1, Nguyen Minh Lam, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, together with leaders of relevant departments and branches, conducted a field survey of the route and planned resettlement sites for the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project.

Accordingly, Nguyen Minh Lam, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with the working delegation and consulting units, conducted on-site surveys of the planned resettlement locations in Ben Luc, Rach Kien, My Loc, Phuoc Vinh Tay, and Tan Tap communes.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Lam requested that relevant departments and commune-level People's Committees involved in the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project focus on carrying out the procedures for formulating, appraising, and approving the 1/500-scale detailed planning of resettlement areas for the component projects. At the same time, these plans must be consistent with the communes’ general planning schemes, under legal regulations, to create the most favorable conditions for the project’s implementation.

The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project stretches nearly 160 kilometers with a total investment of about 120,413 billion VND and is divided into 10 component projects. Tay Ninh Province's route covers 78.3 kilometers across 15 communes, comprising three component projects, including a 3.8-kilometer section that runs through Ho Chi Minh City.
