According to the provincial assessment, August saw robust socio-economic results across most sectors.
Enterprise production activities surged compared with the same period, with the industrial production index rising 12.85%. Public investment disbursement also improved over the previous month, reaching nearly 8.5 trillion VND — equivalent to 53.06% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister and 51.48% of the allocation set by the Provincial People’s Committee.
Budget revenue continued to post strong results, rising year-on-year. As of August 28, 2025, collections reached 35.5988 trillion VND — 95.7% of the Central Government’s target and 94.5% of the Provincial People’s Council’s estimate, up 32.3% from last year.
Cultural and social activities progressed; national defense, security, and public order remained stable. However, agricultural consumption faced challenges, with declining prices for many products and some diseases on the rise.
Participants proposed solutions to remove obstacles at the meeting and ensure the year’s remaining tasks are met.
