Tay Ninh deploys solutions to improve PAPI
With the goal of bringing PAPI results into the high average score group, the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province has just issued a plan to focus on 8 key content groups. The province's plan emphasizes the role and responsibility of leaders and officials at all levels in performing public duties. Improving PAPI is identified as a regular task, closely linked to administrative reform and serving the people.
Tay Ninh proposes many groups of solutions to improve PAPI Index
The People's Committee of Tay Ninh province clearly identified that maintaining and improving the Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) is a key, long-term task, associated with the implementation of political tasks of each locality, agency, and unit. In 2025, the province aims for the PAPI results to be in the group with high average scores nationwide.
Accordingly, Plan No. 315 focuses on implementing 8 key groups of contents including: Participation of people at the grassroots level; Publicity and transparency; Accountability to people; Controlling corruption in the public sector; Public administrative procedures; Public service provision; Environmental governance; E-governance.
Each group of contents is specified with solutions that clearly define people, tasks, and responsibilities. In particular, local authorities must ensure the transparency of people's contributions, seriously receive citizens, and prevent "avoidance and shirking". Areas such as land, education, health, and environment will be tightened with inspection and negative practices will be strictly handled. The "one-stop" mechanism continues to be promoted in conjunction with online public services.
In particular, the Provincial People's Committee requires that heads of agencies and units be directly responsible for the results of implementation in their assigned areas. Any cases of harassment or negativity in the performance of official duties will be strictly handled. At the same time, the province requests the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to strengthen supervision, social criticism, and promote the role of the people as masters.
The province also directed to promote the plan's propaganda work in many diverse forms, with easy-to-understand and practical content so that the policy can truly enter life./.
