Tay Ninh launches the 170-hectare Thu Thua Industrial Park project

Thu Thua Industrial Park has a scale of more than 170 hectares, with a total investment of nearly 3,000 billion VND

Attending the event were former State President Truong Tan Sang; Secretary of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Quyet; Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut; Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai; along with former provincial leaders of different periods; members of Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of provincial and local departments and branches.

Thu Thua Industrial Park is conveniently located about 45km from Ho Chi Minh City, near highways and international ports. On the southern development axis, Thu Thua is 1 hour away from Ho Chi Minh City, a land that is growing strongly, a highlight in the industrial development strategy of the new Tay Ninh province.

The project marks the beginning of a new development phase, expected to become a driving force for the province's socio-economic development, improving technical infrastructure, creating jobs, increasing budget revenue and attracting investment in the region.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thu Thua Industrial Park and Urban Development Joint Stock Company Le Thanh Tung said: “Thu Thua Industrial Park is planned according to the model of a modern, multi-functional industrial park, satisfying a number of conditions, such as prioritizing clean industry, high-tech agriculture, food processing, logistics; applying green - smart standards in infrastructure: wastewater treatment, renewable energy, optimal internal traffic”.

Accordingly, the project will be implemented in 2 phases, in which phase 1 is under construction of technical infrastructure - will complete by the end of 2025; phase 2 will be expanded according to investor needs and is expected to complete in 2026-2027.

 In order for the project to come into effective operation soon, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province Nguyen Van Ut requested the investor to mobilize maximum resources, organize construction methodically, strictly comply with legal regulations; ensure progress, quality and absolute safety throughout the implementation process.

“Relevant departments, branches and localities actively support and speed up administrative procedures, creating the most favorable conditions for investors to soon put the Industrial Park into operation; focusing on site clearance and resettlement; and at the same time strengthening the work of ensuring security and order in the area,” Mr. Nguyen Van Ut emphasized.

Thu Thua Industrial Park is oriented to attract processing and manufacturing industries, supporting industries, electricity and electronics, logistics and some high-tech agricultural sectors of the province. After coming into operation, Thu Thua Industrial Park is expected to create jobs for about 20,000 - 25,000 local workers and neighboring areas, contributing to increasing people's income, stabilizing social security and increasing budget revenue for the province.

On this occasion, the investment unit donated 300 million VND to support social security in Thu Thua commune./.
