On April 26, Thai Consulate General in HCMC - Apirat Sugondhabhirom paid courtesy visit to leaders of Long An province. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut and leaders of some provincial departments and branches received the delegation.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut briefly informed about the socio-economic situation of Long An last year, at the same time, recognized the investment, contribution and effective business of Thai businesses in Long An. He also affirmed that the Provincial People's Committee is always interested in, promptly removing difficulties and problems, creating favorable conditions for Thai businesses in Long An to develop.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that Mr. Apirat Sugondhabhirom will continue to strengthen the long-term and deep cooperation connection between organizations and businesses from Thailand - Vietnam in general, Thailand - Long An in particular in the coming time. Thereby, it contributes to promoting the good traditional friendship relationship between Vietnam and Thailand.

He also said that 70 percent of Thai agriculture has similarities with Vietnamese agriculture, this visit to Long An to understand more potentials and strengths of the province to introduce some modern products and equipment that can be applied in agricultural production between the two sides.
On this occasion, on the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand, the Consulate General of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City and Company 4 Oranges awarded 204 wheelchairs with the "Kien Tuong" brand with the total worth 910 million VND for people with disabilities and difficult mobility in Long An province./.
