Uniting for a common goal

After the merger of Long An and Tay Ninh provinces, the spirit of solidarity was not only preserved but also spread strongly. People from different regions gradually integrated, shared difficulties with the government, overcame challenges to join hands in building their homeland. Differences in customs, habits, lifestyles, etc. gradually blended, enriching the identity of the community.

In all localities, the Fatherland Front and authorities at all levels innovated their ways of working, listened to and promptly resolved issues arising from the grassroots. Since the beginning of 2025, the Fatherland Front at all levels and its member organizations have mobilized people to donate land, contribute working days, and join hands to repair and upgrade rural roads and bridges; plant trees, install solar lights, etc., with a total value of billions of VND. Along with the strong implementation of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, the Fatherland Front at all levels has also mobilized the construction and repair of hundreds of charity houses, trade union shelters, and comrade houses.

Tan Tay was formed from the merger of three communes, Thuy Tay, Tan Dong and Tan Tay (old Thanh Hoa district) and is gradually affirming its strong transformation thanks to promoting the strength of great solidarity in the community. The obvious changes in infrastructure, landscape and life are all imprinted with the spirit of solidarity of the people.

Standing Deputy Secretary of Tan Tay Commune Party Committee Ngo Trong Hieu affirmed: “Solidarity is the key factor to help the locality overcome difficulties. We always promote the role of the entire political system, taking the people as the center, the subject and the driving force for development. Immediately after the merger, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations innovated their working methods, linked activities with the reality of each residential area, strengthened internal solidarity and mobilized the whole people to join hands. Thanks to that, movements and campaigns continued to spread strongly in the brave and resilient homeland”.

With the motto “The State and the People work together”, in the past 5 years, the commune has invested in the construction of 173 projects with a total cost of more than 381.29 billion VND, of which people contributed more than 47.2 billion VND. Breakthrough programs and key projects were all completed on schedule, promoting clear effectiveness thanks to the consensus and cooperation of the community, contributing to improving the rural landscape. Many effective models have been established, such as growing high-quality rice, converting to suitable crops, and linking cooperatives for sustainable business. Many households have become well-off, proactively expanding production, and no longer relying on state support.

Mr. Pham Van Thinh (Tan Dong hamlet) shared: “Thanks to the guidance of the government and the Farmers' Association, I have boldly changed crops and applied new techniques to production, so my family's income is gradually improved. The most precious thing is that the people here are always united, ready to contribute labor and money, together plant flowers and trees, repair roads, build bridges and help each other in difficult times.”

Located at the gateway to Ho Chi Minh City, An Tinh ward holds an important strategic position not only in terms of economy but also in terms of military throughout history. During the resistance war against colonialism and imperialism, An Tinh was a springboard, a place to gather forces, contributing significantly to the victory of the nation. With its great contributions, this land was twice awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the Party and the State.

There are currently 2 large industrial parks in the area, Trang Bang and Linh Trung III Export Processing - Industrial Zone, attracting 135 companies with more than 37,000 workers, contributing to job creation and increasing income for people. In addition to industrial parks, the locality also has more than 340 operating enterprises, with a total investment capital of nearly 1,190 billion VND. The average income per capita is currently about 71 million VND/year.

Along with economic development, the fields of health, education, culture - society have also received investment attention. Social security work is focused, the rate of near-poor households is only 0.12%. Implementing the program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Prime Minister, by April 2025, An Tinh had completed the construction for households with difficulties.

In the first half of 2025, An Tinh ward residents contributed more than 1 billion VND to build rural traffic works. Thanks to that, 11 roads were concreted and paved with solid stone; 2 rural roads were installed with more than 30 light bulbs, helping people to travel easily, ensuring security and order. Administrative reform work was seriously and effectively implemented. In the first 6 months of the year, the one-stop department received 8,037 records and processed 100% of the records in accordance with regulations.

According to the Standing Deputy Secretary of An Tinh Ward, Nguyen Thi Thuy Cuc, the locality continues to promote administrative reform, improve operational efficiency, focus on investing in urban infrastructure, protecting the environment, developing tourism and preserving cultural identity. At the same time, strengthen national defense - security, prevent and combat corruption, waste and care for people's lives. An Tinh Ward continues to strive to increase the rate of people participating in health insurance by 2025 to 95% or more; ensure 100% of people use clean water; 100% of domestic solid waste is collected and treated.

With the spirit of solidarity, innovation and sustainable development, An Tinh is gradually affirming its position as a dynamic and affectionate locality - worthy of the tradition of a heroic land.
