The delegation of S'tem Co., Ltd. greets the leaders of Long An People's Committee

S'tem Co., Ltd. was established in 1970, has many years of experience in operation and maintenance of various wastewater treatment works in Japan.

With the business philosophy of contributing to society by building an environmental culture through safe water and comfortable environment, the company meets a variety of customer needs such as research, analysis and consulting; operation and maintenance; design and construction; environmental education, support for ISO certification; remote monitoring through the cloud system; sale of related machinery and equipment.

In 2019, the Department of Foreign Affairs of Long An province and S'tem Co., Ltd. signed an Agreement on the wastewater treatment trainee program. According to the agreement, the province will send young engineers to work at S'tem Co., Ltd. as trainees. S'tem Co., Ltd. will train staff from the province of the company's wastewater treatment in the Japanese way. When the intern returns to Long An, they can apply the knowledge they have learned, and act as a bridge between the province and S'tem Co., Ltd. in cooperation activities of the two sides to protect the environment of the two countries.

Since 2021, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the two sides have not had any other exchange and cooperation activities. At the meeting, Mr. Takeo Maruyama expressed his wish to resume previous cooperation activities in the context that the epidemic is basically under control.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee – Pham Tan Hoa sincerely thanked the delegation for coming to greet politely; at the same time, he wished to continue to cooperate with S'tem Co., Ltd in human resource training. 2023 is the 50th anniversary of diplomatic establishment between Vietnam and Japan, so Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee – Pham Tan Hoa expects to deepen the cooperation relationship between Long An and S'tem Co., Ltd. In the future, more interns will come to S'tem Co., Ltd. to study, work and become a skilled human resource of the province.

After the meeting, the delegation had a meeting with relevant departments and agencies to discuss a number of activities and cooperation contents in the coming time./.
