Vice Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa presents a souvenir to Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi - Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City

With continuous efforts in promoting investment attraction and economic diplomacy activities, Long An province has achieved many outstanding results in both investment and trade.

Regarding foreign investment, in the first 8 months of 2024, the province granted 76 new projects, with newly granted investment capital reaching more than 570 million USD. Up to now, the province has 1,339 projects with registered capital of more than 11.5 billion USD, etc.

Long An has received 7 projects from Indian enterprises with a total capital of nearly 90 million USD. The province also inaugurated the project “Construction of a 3-classroom building at Nguyen Van Dinh Primary School, Binh Phong Thanh Town, Moc Hoa District, Long An Province”, through the Quick Impact Project under the Development Assistance Program under the Mekong-Ganga Cooperation funded by Indian Government, worth 50,000 USD.

On behalf of the government and people of Long An Province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa expressed his deep gratitude for the valuable support of the Government of India and the Consul General himself. He believed that the friendly and cooperative relationship between India and Vietnam, especially with Long An Province, would continue to develop strongly in the future.
