21st Session of Long An People's Council opened

At this meeting, the provincial People's Council will consider and promulgate many important decisions such as expected investment plans for the period 2021-2025 and year 2021; approve undertaking the implementation of some projects of transport and site clearance; the policy of changing the purpose of land use and land acquisition; decide issues related to fees, charges, tuition rates, support for victims of trafficking; salary for the grassroots-level non-specialized officials; etc.

In addition, the People's Council will review and evaluate the results of the first 6 months of 2020 in various fields; thematic supervision at the meeting and issuance of a resolution on strengthening the state management of people's health care activities and implementing the roadmap for universal health insurance in the province - directly health-affecting issues, that have been very interested by voters and public opinions over the past time.

It is expected that the provincial People's Council will consider and promulgate 27 resolutions on economy-society. These are very important issues that have direct longlasting impacts on the people and local development.
