40 localities nationwide implements model of provincial public administration center

At Long An end-point bridge, Director of the provincial DoHA - Nguyen Van Bon and representatives of the Division of Home Affairs of 15 districts, towns and cities in the province attended the meeting.

In the first 6 months of 2019, the DoHA continued to build and complete institutions, ensure on time and quality. The promotion of decentralization and authorization for ministries, branches and localities to perform tasks in accordance with law. The work of inspection, examination and handling of violations was carried out regularly and promptly.

Administrative reform has been implemented drastically and created a clear change. So far, 40 localities have built and deployed the models of the provincial public administration center. 100% of central and local agencies connect on the National document link axis ensuring to send and receive documents timely and economically.

In addition to the achieved results, the DoHA still has some shortcomings and limitations: The work of making institutions and developing policy is still slow compared to the regulations; the reorganization of professional agencies has not been implemented synchronously; coordination among ministries, branches and localities in solving problems is not good; etc.

According to Mr. Le Vinh Tan, the main reason leading to the limitations and shortcomings of the DoHA is currently the head of some agencies and units in the management of rolling ministries, officials and employees under their jurisdiction; discipline, administrative discipline in some time and some places are not really serious; etc.

In the last 6 months of 2019, the DHA continues to perform a number of key tasks: To quickly assess the civil servant payroll in 2020 to submit to the Prime Minister for approval; speeding up inspection and examination, promptly discovering and resolutely handling violations in the performance of official duties; focus on implementing and arranging district and commune administrative units in the period 2019-2021; promote administrative reform in administrative agencies at all levels, and so on./.
