4th Press Prize on Mekong River Delta awarded

The First Prize is awarded to the winning authors

After two rounds of Preliminary and Finals, the Organizing Committee selected the excellent works to award. The prize structure includes 02 First prizes, 04 Second prizes, 06 Third prizes and 10 Consolation prizes.

In 2019, the Organizing Committee received more than 360 works, including nearly 150 radio and television works and more than 200 works of printed and electronic newspapers from authors, groups of authors of press agencies in the region of the Mekong River Delta and Central agencies.

This year's entries are of high quality, reflecting the actual content in the area as well as in the region, meeting the requirements set by the Organizing Committee.

The Prize is not only the place of exchanging experiences and skills among journalists but also a critical channel to help the state management agency to have a comprehensive and holistic view from which to improve the efficiency in the real process doing their duty.

At the same time, the Vice Chairman of the Journalists Association congratulated the award-winning authors, he wishes all journalists in the Mekong Delta region in particular and Vietnam in general good health.
Following the success, the Organizing Committee continued to launch the 5th Press Prize on Mekong River Delta 2020.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Journalists Association also presented 100 gifts to poor students overcoming difficulties in Kien Giang province, each gift worth 500,000 VND./.
