Tay Ninh launches 1,600-apartment social housing project

Emphasizing the importance of building social housing, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province Nguyen Van Ut affirmed that Tay Ninh has approved 59 industrial parks and 82 industrial clusters, with nearly 470,000 workers living and serving the industrial parks, but there is still a huge shortage of social housing.

During the industrial development process, most of the laborers and workers temporarily reside in the area, staying in boarding houses, a small number live in worker housing areas. Therefore, the province has always oriented the investment in social housing in the past time to plan, create clean land funds and call for investors.

Therefore, the groundbreaking of this Social Housing project, invested by Phuong Mai Long An Joint Stock Company, aims to contribute to providing stable accommodation for workers in Duc Hoa and My Hanh areas. According to the investor representative, the project has a total investment capital of more than 1,638 billion VND, a scale of nearly 1.8 hectares, including three 27-storey apartment buildings, expected to provide nearly 1,650 social and commercial housing apartments.
