Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Provincial Party Committee - Le Thanh Nghiem reported to the delegation some situation, results of the inspection and supervision in 2019; inspection and supervision program in 2020.

Accordingly, in 2019, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee have a focus on leadership, drastically directing, closely following the local political programs, plans and missions to organize the implementation of inspection and supervision in the Party effectively. The content of inspection and supervision had its main and key points, focusing on sensitive and prominent areas which were mostly concerned by public opinions, especially in the field of land management and use, capital construction; advising and assisting the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee in inspecting and supervising the leadership and direction of organizing the implementation of the Central Resolution 4 (term XII) associated with studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, ethics and style.

The Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee regularly monitored and understood the situation to conduct inspection of Party organizations and Party members when there are signs of violations, thereby promptly detecting, preventing and handling violations; it closely coordinated with the concerned departments and branches in order to promptly consider and handle synchronously between the party discipline and the discipline of the government, consider and promptly handle complaints, denunciations and proposals of citizen; the quality of inspections and supervisors has a positive change, contributing to maintain discipline in the Party and improve the position and prestige of the Inspection sector in the province.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Cam Tu acknowledged and evaluated the results achieved by the Long An Inspection sector over the past year. He suggested that officials working in the inspection and supervision sector wholeheartedly served the Party Congress at all levels in the coming time. They should advise the Party committees to lead, direct and organize the implementation of inspection and supervision, especially to inspect the implementation of the Politburo's Directive 35 of the Party Congress at all levels to the National Party Congress XIII. They should continue implementing the tasks prescribed by the Party charter effectively. They should strengthen inspection and supervision associated with the responsibility of the head; handle newly arising and pressing issues concerned by the society. They should advise the Party Committee and appraising the congress personnel for the 2020-2025 term, and so on.
