On a business trip to the Mekong Delta, Commercial Counselor of the Austrian Embassy in Ho Chi Minh City - Dietmar Schwank and Austrian businesses had a meeting with the Long An People's Committee. Thereby, the delegation would like to learn about the province's development orientations, priorities and plans in the field of environmental technology, green technology and some infrastructure related to the environment, including water supply, water treatment, wastewater, waste, irrigation, air quality control, energy efficiency, savings, fire prevention, etc.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut informed that the province had focused on developing industrial zones, clusters and transport infrastructure. He wished that the Austrian Embassy in Ho Chi Minh City and businesses would be interested in learning more about investment opportunities in Long An. The province is committed to always accompanying and creating favorable conditions for investors to promote exchange and cooperation activities, especially in the fields of green technology, environment and infrastructure.

The year 2022 is the year towards the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Austria (December 1, 1972 - December 1, 2022). He said this would be the basis for the two sides to continue to have better bilateral relations and develop in the right direction in the coming time./.
