Currently, Singapore is the 6th largest investor in Long An with 44 projects and 1st in investment capital with more than 3.8 billion USD. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said that economic growth in 2021 was estimated at 1.02 percent despite being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, with the efforts of the political system; total state budget revenue is estimated at 18 trillion VND, exceeding the set plan.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said that in the coming time, Long An will promote and further expand the cooperation relationship with Singapore; ready to create all favorable conditions for businesses to explore investment in the province. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee wishes to cooperate with the areas that are Singapore's strengths: Education, urban development planning, logistics services, etc. In addition, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also praised the development of the dynamic and modern Singapore.

Consul General of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City - Kho Ngee Seng Roy thanked the leaders of Long An province for the warm welcome and sincere exchange. He congratulated the province on the results achieved in the past year, especially in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.
