Chairman of Long An People's Committee surveys to construct field hospital

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut (2nd, L) asks the locality to direct the specialized branches to urgently implement the construction and renovation of the areas, isolation rooms, and so on of the field hospital

The delegation came to survey and grasp the situation to  deploy the field hospitals to treat Covid-19 patients at 3 locations: a part of Khang Thong entertainment complex (Happyland), Thanh Duc commune; Nguyen Huu Tho High School and Nguyen Trung Truc Secondary School, Thanh Phu Commune. It is expected that these three field hospitals will operate with a capacity of about 1,550 beds. These field hospitals will receive and treat mild and asymptomatic Covid-19 patients.

Through the survey, grasping the situation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut directed the professional branches to urgently implement the construction and renovation of isolation areas, rooms, and areas for medical staff; toilet area, and so on ensured  as required.

In addition, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut and members of the delegation also visited the Covid-19 vaccination sites in the district. At the inspection sites, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee grasped the situation and progress of vaccination for people, especially employees of enterprises.

Through this, he encouraged the morale of medical staff to continue their efforts to overcome difficulties and fulfill their tasks, especially focusing on ensuring vaccination safety./.
