Currently, OSB is the exclusive agent supporting Long An enterprises to participate in the Alibaba.com e-commerce platform.

Participating in the seminar were many enterprises, cooperatives, and small and medium-sized production establishments in Long An.

In 2022 and 2023, the Department of Industry and Trade supported 10 enterprises; in 2024, it will support 5 more enterprises to participate in the Alibaba e-commerce platform.

Accordingly, the department supports 100% of the costs: Buying the Gold Supplier Basic membership service package on the Alibaba e-commerce platform, designing a booth on the Alibaba e-commerce platform, and taking care of the booth according to standards.

Long An agricultural products are a strong product on the Alibaba platform

Ms. Truong Phuong Thoa said that Long An's dominant products on the Alibaba e-commerce platform are agricultural products and local specialties. The success factor of enterprises on the platform is to operate trading activities, display and promote products on the booth and arrange staff to deal with customers.

The representative of the Southern E-commerce Center - OSB Group shared that the benefits of enterprises participating in the e-commerce platform are being able to approach customers without borders, unlimited time and abundant customers.

In the current era of digital transformation, cross-border e-commerce is quickly becoming a core factor of the global economy and an inevitable trend.

Therefore, in order to develop sustainably, enterprises need to focus on promoting products, selling products abroad, especially agricultural products to reduce dependence on informal exports./.
