Besides, the output consumed in the market also decreased because the retail stores, traditional markets, food enterprises stopped operating. After a long time implementing the "3-on-site" measure, workers began to worry about their loved relatives at home because they were in the epidemic center.

Up to now, over 80 percent of enterprises have resumed operation

However, the Board of Directors of An Long Company as well as the employees are excited because the provincial and district authorities deploy Covid-19 vaccination for workers to do "3-on-site" measure. The company has 100 percent of "3-on-site" employees who are injected vaccine, of which 81 percent of employees were injected shot 2. Thanks to the right and timely policy from the provincial government, the company solved the arising difficulties to both ensure the Covid-19 prevention and control, and to maintain production.

Tu Phuong Bao Ad Star Factory (Loi Binh Nhon Industrial Complex, Tan An City) specializes in manufacturing all kinds of packaging. Factory director - Bui To Dinh said that the policy from the Long An province government that prioritizes vaccination for workers has had a positive impact on morale and productivity in the workplace time "3-on-site". Many workers expressed that being vaccinated helps them become "Green workers", "Green workers make a production site green".

Accordingly, implementing ""3-on-site" measure, the factory has 285 workers (before the epidemic, there were 600 workers). At the time of organizing "3-on-spot" production, the workers' psychology was not stable, so the output decreased. However, 10 days later, all factories are in the same mood for both production and anti-epidemic. Although only nearly 50 percent of employees worked, the product made was 70 percent compared to the time before the epidemic. Up to now, the factory has more than 400 workers returning to production; nearly 400 workers received 2 shots of the vaccine and 165 workers received the 1st shot. The number of workers who did not receive the injection was due to the laborers who were following home quarantine outside of Long An province.

Anti-epidemic for production

CEO of An Long Company - Le Dang Quang added that before the epidemic, the output and consumption of cooking oil averagely reached about 18,000 tons per month in the second and third quarters. In the third quarter, production fell to 12,000 tons. Despite reducing production and consumption, the company still has many import and export contracts with customers. At the time of social distancing, many state management agencies such as traffic and customs still organize work throughout, creating the best conditions for enterprises to carry out administrative procedures.

The exciting thing is that the difficulties have passed, the workers in the production workshops are eager to return to the factory, busy with the assignment, contributing to the company to speed up the completion of orders for partners. It is expected that in the fourth quarter of 2021, the company will achieve production and sales of about 18,000 tons, reaching the set target in 2021 of 66,000 tons of cooking oil.

With support from local authorities in speeding up vaccination for workers, the company is determined to keep the "green zone" in production. This is also the motivation for the company to rest assured to restore production and trade, continue to seek new markets, increase product consumption in 2022 with the target of 72,000 tons of cooking oil.

In the most difficult days when facing the fast-spreading Covid-19 epidemic, Long An put the anti-epidemic goal on top but also prepared to restore production. Provincial leaders have proposed to the PM to be allocated vaccines to prioritize vaccination for workers. As a result, the enterprises in the province have been focusing on quickly implementing measures to restore production and trade according to the province's plan.

Up to now, about 80 percent of the total enterprises have resumed operation. According to the expected roadmap, by the end of November 2021, the province will put all production and trade into the "new normal" state.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut said that Long An is also calculating and expanding to spend more vaccines for enterprises to attract workers from outside the province in addition to focusing on vaccines for workers and laborers working in the province. Welcoming laborers to Long An is also an important goal together with the province's investment attraction strategy to support enterprises with enough energy to produce and do business. Provincial leaders want enterprises to always feel that the interests of enterprises are ensured, reasonable between epidemic prevention and control and the implementation of activities with the motto as the PM said: "Fighting the epidemic serves production and production serves the fight against the epidemic". Benefits must be harmonized, risks must be shared.
