The 152nd death anniversary of National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc (1868 - 2020) is held on October 27 and 28, 2020 (on September 11 and 12 of the Lunar calendar). However, 2 days ago, more than 10 groups with 500 people were present at the relic to prepare free meals for people to join the event.
Mr. Cao Van Nhan (from An Giang province) said: “This is the third time that we join hands to celebrate the death anniversary of National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc. Each person is assigned a separate task. After more than 1 month of preparation, we have 6 teams with over 150 members. The implementation costs are socialized with a total amount of over 200 million VND."
This year, the death anniversary of National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc is expected to welcome about 3,000 visitors. All visitors can enjoy free vegetarian food and drinks.
