Leaders of Long An and Ha Tinh provinces exchange experience in administration and management

Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee - Le Dinh Son congratulated the positive results of Long An 

At the meeting, leaders of the two provinces discussed the socio-economic situation of each locality. According to Long An Provincial Party Committee Secretary - Pham Van Ranh, in 2018, the economic growth rate of Long An reached 10.36%, exceeding the set target. He also indicated that the state budget revenue reached over VND 14,800 billion. In the field of agriculture, Long An has been implementing high-tech applications in growing rice, dragon fruit, vegetables as well as raising cows.

Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee - Le Dinh Son congratulated the positive results that Long An has achieved in recent years. He said that the achievements in attracting investment, developing industry and high-tech agricultural production of Long An are regarded as valuable experience for Ha Tinh to learn and apply based on its existing conditions.

Besides, he also gave a brief review of the socio-economic situation, security and defense of Ha Tinh. In 2018, regarding state budget, over VND 12,700 billion has been collected. The province achieved various typical results in implementing the new-style rural program. Up to now, the whole province has 158 communes meeting the new rural standards, accounting for 69% of the total number and 1 district meeting new rural district standards.

In addition,  there was also an exchange of advice on the administrative reforms as well as effective methods in streamlining the organization and improving the efficiency of the provincial governments' operations.

On this occasion, the delegation also visited the former President - Truong Tan Sang in his hometown in My Hanh Nam commune, Duc Hoa district, Long An province./.
