KBIZ was established in 1962 with the goal of protecting the rights and interests of 7.1 million Korean small and medium businesses; promoting the balanced development of the economy according to the Government's priority policy to support and promote Korean small and medium businesses to grow domestically and internationally.
According to KBIZ Vice President - Jeong Yoon Mo, in Korea, small and medium businesses account for more than 99% of the total number of companies and 90% of the labor rate. Therefore, KBIZ's responsibility is to dedicatedly support their activities by finding and creating a good business environment so that they have favorable conditions to participate in business and quickly consolidate position.
Therefore, KBIZ believes that there will be more connection and coordination activities with Long An province in the future to create favorable conditions and develop special support policies for small and medium businesses investing in Vietnam in general and Long An in particular in many fields.

In the context of the relationship between the two countries developing very well, the two sides have become each other's "Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Partners". Economic cooperation between the two countries continues to grow strongly, deeply and widely after the two countries signed the Vietnam - Korea Free Trade Agreement (VKFTA).
In Long An, there are currently more than 200 projects of Korean investors in operation, ranking 2nd in number of projects and 3rd in investment capital with nearly 1 billion USD; Korean projects in the province have made important contributions to local development. In the coming time, the province hopes KBIZ will actively connect Korean investors to learn about and invest in the province. The province committed to be always consistent in directing and building partnerships with Korean investors to develop together.
Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee - Huynh Van Son introduced the geographical location, investment environment, development orientation according to the provincial Masterplan for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050, priority areas such as synchronous and modern urban technical infrastructure, smart urban areas, transportation infrastructure; environment; service industries with high added value.
Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee - Huynh Van Son also emphasized that Long An province's leaders always accompany businesses, regularly grasp and dialogue with businesses to promptly remove difficulties in the process of investment, production, business.
Long An also wishes to cooperate with KBIZ and invite KBIZ members to invest in Long An in the following fields: High technology, industrial automation 4.0, components and electronic equipment and software manufacturing, semiconductor industry, artificial intelligence; material production, supporting industries, cars and car components processing, manufacturing, production and assembly; smart ecological urban areas; seaport, import and export services, business support services, logistics; border gate economy; high-tech agricultural model combined with eco-tourism, forming a regional agricultural export coordination center; renewable energy industry; etc.

Currently, KBIZ has been actively connecting with governments at all levels to have trade promotion policies specifically for Korean small and medium businesses with Southeast Asian countries, including Vietnam. At the same time, he hopes that the Government of Vietnam and Long An province will continue to create conditions for Korean businesses to invest and contribute to the overall development of the province./.
