Long An delegation visits soldiers and people of Hon Doc island

Within the framework of the visit to encourage officers, soldiers and people in the islands of the southwest coast of the country, on June 18, ship 529 carried a delegation of officials of Long An province led by Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc to visit Hon Doc island (Tien Hai commune, Ha Tien city, Kien Giang province).

Previously, Long An Provincial Delegation presented gifts with a total cost of 560 million VND to officers, soldiers and forces on the Southwest islands.

At Hon Doc island, the delegation visited at Radar Station 625 of Regiment 551, Naval Region 5. The delegation was introduced by Captain Nguyen Tuan Anh - Head of Radar Station 625 about the overview of natural conditions, population, socio-economic situation, and local security and order. At the same time, the delegation also presented gifts to the soldiers and people here.

Speaking at the meeting, Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of Long An Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc expressed the concern and encouragement of the Provincial Party Committee, government and people of Long An province to the soldiers on duty to firmly protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland. He wished the soldiers to be strong and tough, and forces in the area to work closely together to continue to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
