The breakthrough projects and key works continue to be accelerated by the Long An DoT
Deputy Director of the Long An DoT - Nguyen Hoai Trung said that implementing a breakthrough program to mobilize all resources to build a synchronous transport infrastructure system serving the development of industrial economy, urban areas in public economic zones key industry of the province according to the Resolution of the XIth Long An Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, right from the early days of 2021, the DoT has focused urgently on preparing investment steps for 8 breakthrough projects and 3 key works in the period 2020 - 2025.
All these selected works are located in Tan An city and key districts of Ben Luc, Duc Hoa, Can Duoc, Can Giuoc are planned to synchronously connect to Long An International Port, industrial zones and clusters, urban development and especially projects connecting to Ho Chi Minh City.

Accordingly, the works in the transport breakthrough program in the period 2020 - 2025 include:
Luong Hoa - Binh Chanh Road, 6.2 kilometers in length, urban road scale, 60-meter wide roadbed with the beginning of Vam Co Dong river bank, the end point is HCMC boundary, 100 percent of investment capital will be mobilized from business.
Huu Thanh - Tan Buu road with a length of 12.8 kilometers, the beginning point intersects with the road connecting PR 830 to Hai Son - Tan Do, the end point is Tan Buu bridge with 6-lane urban road gender + 4 mixed lanes, 102-meter wide roadbed, investment capital is mobilized from enterprises.
PR 826E, section from PR 826C intersection to Can Giuoc bridge, 1.6 kilometers long with 6-lane urban road, 40-meter wide roadbed connecting Rach Doi bridge to PR 826E with a length of about 2 kilometers with a 40-meter wide roadbed.
Duc Hoa dynamic axis, approximately 22 kilometers in length, size of 4-lane urban road, 33-meter wide roadbed.
Upgrading and expanding PR 824 from My Hanh intersection to Kenh Ranh bridge, nearly 2.2 kilometers in length, 25-meter wide roadbed, widening parallel roads 5 meters x 2 sides, 15-meter wide surface, 4 lanes.
Tan Tap - Long Hau Road, section from Ring Road 4 to PR 830, 4.6 kilometers in length with plain grade 3 road scale.
Finally, there is the intersection of Hung Vuong Street – National Highway 62, Tan An City.
In addition, during this term, the transport sector also undertook the implementation of three key projects of the Congress, including the completion of Ring Road of Tan An City; PR 830E, from the expressway intersection to PR 830 (Ring Road 4) and PR 827E, from Ho Chi Minh City to Vam Co Dong River (dynamic axis of Ho Chi Minh City - Long An - Tien Giang).
Following the term 2015 - 2020, the key project of Tan An City Ring Road, phase 2 will be completed in the term 2020 - 2025
Deputy Director of the Department of Transport - Nguyen Hoai Trung informed that the estimated total capital needs to implement and perform the key transport projects in the period 2020 - 2025, a breakthrough of nearly 30,000 billion VND with a capital structure of 61.2 percent from the state budget, equivalent to 18,308 billion VND and 38.8 percent mobilized capital from economic sectors, equivalent to 11,620 billion VND.
Mr. Trung said that the breakthrough program in traffic in the previous term has affirmed the practical effectiveness when it gradually forms a modern and synchronous traffic system, practically meets the requirements of socio-economic development, especially in attracting investment. Along with that, this term, breakthrough projects in the field of transport and 3 key projects promise to bring a new synchronous, complete, highly connected face among districts in key economic regions with Long An International Port and HCMC. Thereby, it is confirmed that with the strategy of prioritizing the investment in construction of transport infrastructure of the Provincial Party Committee - Provincial People's Committee in the term 2020 - 2025 will help the province's economy develop strongly.
In the near future, the Department of Transport will coordinate with other branches, localities and neighboring provinces, continue to petition the Government and the Ministry of Transport to soon pay attention to invest in regional transport axes such as the N1 axis; upgrade and expand the N2 axis; National Highway 50; coastal driving force connecting the western coastal provinces and Ho Chi Minh City; continue to plan border highways, coastal highways, and so on in order to complete the transport system of the province as well as of the western provinces connecting to Ho Chi Minh City, creating a driving force for development./.
