Over the past time, the entire Party, people and army of Long An have united and joined forces to repel the Covid-19 epidemic, especially making good use of the golden time to focus on controlling and repelling the epidemic. So far, the epidemic has generally been under control, most of the new infections arising in areas that have been isolated and blocked; Some cases detected in the community have been narrowed down, focusing on tracing, isolating and treating. That result is thank to the drastic, synchronous and selfless participation of the forces, especially those on the frontline forces against the epidemic. Due to the increasingly complex epidemic, the frontline forces to fight the epidemic must daily and hourly strain themselves against the epidemic; have to regularly contact with cases, so now there are some on-duty comrades infected with Covid-19; Some are anxious and need the encouragement, sharing and support of the whole political and social system to feel more secure and confident in performing their tasks. 

The Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledges, appreciates and shares the difficulties, hardships, sacrifices and contributions of frontline forces performing the task of epidemic prevention and control.

In the coming time, in order to continue to implement drastic, strong, synchronous and effective measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in the province, the most important goal is to protect the people’s health, life and the safety, the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee requested:

Party committees, authorities, departments, committees, branches, Fatherland Front and provincial socio-political organizations actively coordinate with all-level government, especially grassroots authorities to strengthen their interest timely support and encourage frontline forces in the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic, both physically and mentally, help the forces to unite, be confident, and feel secure in their work. The process of performing the task must be calm, not pessimistic, hasty; must promote intelligence, creativity, flexibly handle the situation, well complete the assigned tasks.

The Propaganda and Training Department of Provincial Party Committee strengthens to orientate the information and propaganda work by appropriate forms, in order to raise awareness, consciousness and responsibility of the whole political system from the province to the grassroots, each citizen and enterprises to proactively and actively prevent, fight and control epidemics, protect the health of themselves and the community; at the same time, it actively contributes to cheering and encouraging the spirit of the forces and people, not to panic, to be very calm before the epidemic situation.

The Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee leads the Provincial People's Committee, the Steering Committee for the prevention and control of dangerous diseases on human in the province to urgently make statistics and summarize the support needs for doctors, nurses and technicians, and so on to serve epidemic prevention and control in the province to report and propose to the Central Government to support and provide aid according to the content of Official Letter No. 971/TTg-KGVX, dated July 18, 2021 by the PM. At the same time, it completes the plan to respond to, prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic, ensure readiness for all situations, have scenarios for each level, especially preparing to ensure the forces, equipment necessary equipment to be ready to provide aid for preventing and controlling the Covid-19 epidemic. It fully equips with means, protective materials and knowledge for the frontline forces to fight the epidemic, ensures that no Covid-19 infection is allowed in this force; promptly pays the prescribed salary for forces engaged in epidemic prevention and control.

Comrades and members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Party members assigned to be in charge of and monitoring localities and fields continue to strengthen the direction and inspection of Covid-19 prevention and control, especially the timely support, encourage and encourage the spirit of frontline forces in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.
