At this event, the businesses in the cashew industry had more information about the overview of the cashew market in Eastern and Western Europe; business cooperation and investment opportunities in the new situation; accessing and applying regulations, standards, and conditions for exporting cashew to Eastern and Western Europe.

The Covid-19 epidemic has had a significant impact on production and consumption around the world. However, the consumption of cashew nuts by consumers in the world is still good.

Although Long An does not have a cashew material area, the cashew nut processing industry has developed quite well. Currently, the province has nearly 50 cashew nut processing enterprises. In 2021, the export of cashews reached 104 million USD. Cashew export is also one of the key export industries of the province.

Long An mainly exports cashew products to China, America, Europe and the Middle East. The production process is invested in modern, the product quality is quite good. Most of the deep processing factories have achieved ISO, GMP, HACCP quality certifications to meet the requirements of fastidious markets.

Europe is a large and traditional market for the Long An cashew industry. However, export turnover in Eastern and Western Europe is not much and there is still a lot of potential to exploit. This consultation session is expected to promote cashew nut exports, especially to Eastern and Western Europe./.
