In Long An province, as of January 30, 2021: the whole province recorded 2 cases of Covid-19 disease (patient 1474, 1547); the cumulative suspected cases is 57. 7,282 cases were conducted to be isolated, of which 2,537 cases were concentrated (currently isolating 44 cases, including 7 experts), at-home isolation was 4,745 cases. The number of quarantine completed cases was 7,229; samples for testing were 4,949 samples, negative results were 4,944 samples; positive for 2 cases.

Currently in the province, 41 people comes from Hai Duong, Quang Ninh and flight VN213. 7 people have been taken testing samples, 1 person is negative and 6 people are waiting for the results. Concentrated isolation in 1 case, the rest is isolated at home or self-isolated at home or self-monitoring health.

Facing complicated epidemic diseases, Vice Chairman of Long An People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa has set out a number of tasks that departments and branches need to immediately implement. Accordingly, he asked the provincial health sector to strengthen the review, trace and conduct sampling of suspected cases moving from the epidemic area of Hai Duong, Quang Ninh, Hanoi, Gia Lai, TP. Ho Chi Minh City, and so on to Long An; Continuing to deploy mandatory wearing of face masks, hand washing, body temperature check at places where crowded people, public transport; Focus on communicating 5K content under the guidance of the Ministry of Health.

The Provincial Military Command ensures to allocate human resources to participate in quarantine activities in the province, especially during the Lunar New Year, ready to start quarantine areas when needed.

The Provincial Border Guard Command presides over and coordinates with localities, the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Police to strengthen the inspection of the trail, the opening to prevent illegal exit and immediately detect unauthorized entry to strictly handle according to regulations.

Provincial police closely check cases of temporary residence registration at hotels and motels. Immediate information on data of people entering from abroad within 14 days of entry to the health sector upon discovery.
The Education Sector of the province continues to implement safety measures for disease prevention in schools.

The Transport sector has strengthened prevention and control of epidemics at Long An bus station and passenger car routes, requiring passengers to wear masks in accordance with regulations. The driving license test is temporarily suspended.

Long An Newspaper, Long An Radio and Television Station coordinate with the provincial health sector to regularly update information on disease situation and promptly reflect cases of not complying well with the above regulations on epidemic prevention and control in the province ./.
