Accordingly, before the complicated evolution of the Covid-19 epidemic and the current illegal entry and exit, the Provincial People's Committee requested heads of provincial departments, sectors, branches, and chairpersons of the People's Committees of districts, town and city and heads of relevant agencies and units, according to their assigned functions and tasks to fully and seriously implement the previously directed contents of the Provincial People's Committee.

The Provincial Border Guard Command presides over and coordinates with the Provincial Public Security, the Provincial Military Command, the Market Management Department, the Long An Customs Department, the People's Committees of the border districts and town, and the relevant functional departments, agencies continue to strengthen patrols and strictly control border areas, especially trails and openings in accordance with the spirit of Directive 16/CT-TTg dated March 31, 2020 of the Prime Minister. Prime Minister and Official Telegram No. 1665/CD-UBND dated March 31, 2020 of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to effectively prevent and fight against Covid-19 epidemic, prevent illegal entry and exit and smuggling across provincial border areas.

The provincial Public Security chaired and coordinated with the Department of Health and other departments, sectors and localities to continue reviewing and updating the list of individuals (including cadres, civil servants, public employees and people) going home from the epidemic area, especially going to the places according to the urgent notices of the Ministry of Health, promptly detect and trace cases of suspected Covid-19 infection or close contact with people with suspected manifestations. Covid-19 infection; at the same time, it directed relevant functional forces to focus on investigating and strictly handling cases of illegal entry and exit and untruthful medical declaration in accordance with current law.

Chairpersons of People's Committees of districts, town and city are responsible for the application of measures to prevent and control epidemics in their localities to the provincial People's Committees; intensify directing the strict implementation of measures to prevent and control epidemics, especially in urban centers, areas with a high concentration of people, industrial zones, clusters and wholesale markets. They direct People's Committees of communes, wards, townships, hamlets, neighborhoods, residential communities to actively coordinate with mass organizations and social organizations, professional social organizations to propagate and mobilize people to increase intensify monitoring, timely detecting people from other localities (including foreigners) to immediately notify the authorities to know, check and manage according to regulations. At the same time, special attention must be paid: Regularly check and urge the full implementation of specific solutions to do well the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic, not to spread and arise diseases in the agencies under the their managing system.

The Department of Health presides and coordinates with branches and localities in continuing to direct and strictly implement epidemic prevention and control measures at medical establishments; adequately and promptly protective means of protection for anti-epidemic forces, especially the staff of doctors and nurses, police force, the army on anti-epidemic duty, preventing cross infection; not be subjective to let disease outbreaks or spreads from medical establishments.

In case of an infected case, it is necessary to immediately localize and isolate them with an appropriate scale, scope and time; quickly deploy a contacting history, mass testing and centralized isolation, first of all for those at risk.

Departments, branches and localities continue to review and implement synchronously and drastically solutions to promote the development of socio-economic activities, ensuring the effective implementation of "dual goals", both anti-epidemic and economic development.
