Long An’s industrial parks lure 127 new projects in 10 first months
The Industrial Parks in the southern province of Long An lured 127 new investment projects in the first ten months of 2018, increasing 10 projects compared to previous year.

Of these, there were 70 foreign direct investment projects and 57 domestic direct investment projects with total investment capital up to US$ 172 million and VND 7,138trillion.
Of 127 projects, 84 projects were to adjust capital. Among them, 60 FDI projects adjusted capital up to US$ 126million and 24 DDI projects adjusted capital up to VND 1,281trillion.
Overall, the provincial industrial parks attracted total 1,401 projects including 631 FDI and 770 DDI projects). Total investment capital reached US$ 3,715million and VND 77,2trillion.
Besides, the province stopped operation of 38 projects with 21 DDI and 17 FDI projects.
In order to continue to luring more investment in the province, economic management board plans to check and solve difficulties for infrastructure companies and sub-enterprises. In addition, the province will improve administrative procedures, contributing to enhance (provincial competitiveness index) PCI, supporting enterprises in tackling difficulties, helping them develop more efficient business operations./.
