At the conference, the two sides agreed about 5 signing contents: propagating people in border areas about solidarity, friendship and good cooperation between Vietnam - Cambodia; propagating people to participate in preserving and protecting border lines and landmarks; educating and guiding people to obey the law, not violating the regulations on the border of the two countries and historical waters; not participating in trafficking, transporting smuggled goods across the border, not illegally leaving the country, preventing and combating cross-border women, children and drugs trafficking.

In addition, the two sides will instruct the Fronts of bordering districts, towns, communes and hamlets to coordinate well in implementing the contents, contributing to the construction of residential areas in the bordering areas to ensure peace, order and economic development. At the same time, the two province will create conditions for delegates of the two sides to organize or join delegations to visit and congratulate each other on holidays and traditional New Year of the two ethnic groups; mobilize resources to organize humanitarian activities, visit and share difficulties, and encourage other vocational and technical training activities for border people.

The two province will also organize visits, exchange experiences on the Front's work and hold meetings to evaluate the results of the implementation of signed contents, and annually send a preliminary report on the results of the implementation of the covenant in writing to each other.

That good tradition of friendship has been cultivated and developed by generations of leaders of the two countries to this day, including the friendly and cooperative relationship between Long An and Prey Veng provinces.
