Following the direction of the PM at Official Letter No. 1063/CD-TTg dated July 31, 2021 on the prevention and control of Covid-19 and Official Letter No. 5255/VPCP-KGVX dated July 31, 2021 by the Government Office Government on supplementing the contents of Official Letter No. 1063/CD-TTg, the Provincial People's Committee directs the following implementation:

1. Continue to apply social distancing measures across the whole province according to Directive No. 16/CT-TTg dated March 31, 2020 by the PM and measures to prevent and control the epidemic under the direction of the People's Committee province in Official Letter No. 7030/UBND-VHXH dated July 18, 2021 and Official Letter No. 7427/UBND-VHXH dated July 27, 2021 for an additional 14 days from 0:00 on August 2, 2021.

2. Heads of provincial departments, branches, agencies, mass organizations, and chairpersons of People's Committees of districts, town and city must strictly and consistently follow the motto that it can only be done higher and sooner in accordance with the practical situation in localities and units. Localities in the "green zone" actively coordinate, support and provide appropriate aid to the localities in the "red zone", determine to maintain the results of the fight against the epidemic and not let the disease spread in the province.

Widely propagate, strictly control and immediately implement necessary measures to support life and health so that people can feel secure to "stay where you are". Absolutely do not let people move out of the province from July 31, 2021 until the social distancing time is over (except for those allowed by the authorities).

3. Departments of Health, People's Committees of districts, town and city actively coordinate with each other and with relevant agencies and units to focus on effectively implementing the following tasks:

- Well organize the system and network to care for and treat people infected with SARS-CoV-2 virus according to treatment stratification; focus and prioritize capacity, improve treatment quality, especially for critically ill patients and minimize deaths.

- Organize necessary medical support for all people, ensuring timely, safely and effectively.

- Organize vaccinations quickly, to the right people safely and effectively, without letting the vaccines expire; absolutely do not let the situation of applying for, choosing a vaccine, taking advantage of the position to inject the wrong person and other negative aspects in vaccination. Strictly and promptly handle violations according to law. Heads of localities and relevant agencies and units are directly responsible for disease prevention and control, including vaccination.

- Strengthen the mobilization of medical staff (especially the resuscitation force) regardless of public or private, retired medical staff and students, volunteer youth forces, so on to participate in preventing and controlling epidemics in the area. Take appropriate measures to improve the quality and quantity of doctors, nurses and technicians. Plan and timely provide aid to localities with complicated epidemic situations and high number of cases.

- Focus on taking care of morale, ensuring means of protection, and providing material support to medical forces and forces directly fighting the epidemic. Having a plan for rational use of the medical force, where medical staff is not necessarily needed, will guide other forces and the people to do so.

- Develop a plan and carry out the procurement of medical supplies and equipment in accordance with the Government's Resolution No. 79/NQ-CP dated July 22, 2021 on the procurement of drugs, chemicals and supplies. equipment and means for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, Official Letter No. 4841/BTC-HCSN dated May 12, 2021 of the Ministry of Finance on funding sources and purchasing mechanism in the context of the Covid-19 epidemic and relevant legal documents, ensuring timely and correct regulations, absolutely no negative in purchasing.

4. The Department of Industry and Trade coordinates with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the People's Committees of districts, town and city and relevant agencies and units to organize immediate and sufficient support to provide food and foodstuffs for all the poor, lost income, no longer in reserve employees. Don't let any people lack food or clothing.

5. Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs coordinates with the Department of Transport, functional sectors and localities to implement the Plan No. 2450/KH-UBND dated July 30, 2021 by the Provincial People's Committee on support to receive people affected by the Covid-19 epidemic returning from Ho Chi Minh City, ensuring compliance with the direction of the PM at Official Letter No. 1063/CD-TTg dated July 31, 2021.

6. The Department of Planning and Investment hosts and coordinates with other departments, branches and localities in, working out plans to ensure production of life, social security and social order according to epidemic scenarios; get ready for a bad situation.

7. Departments of Health, Departments of Information and Communications guides and directs all information on epidemic prevention publicly, transparently and timely and control so that people know, support and actively participate in and implement the epidemic prevention and control measures.

8. Long An Newspaper, Long An Radio and Television Station continue to strengthen and promote information and propaganda on regulations and measures to prevent and control the epidemic and the epidemic situation in the province so that people know and voluntarily implement it seriously and fully.

9. Provincial Public Security directs to strictly handle cases of violating the regulations on disease prevention and control, especially acts of failing to strictly comply with regulations on social distancing and giving false information negatively affecting the disease prevention and control in the province./.
