Leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade of the two localities signed a plan to implement the cooperation agreement

Director of Long An Department of Industry and Trade - Le Minh Duc said that the biggest desire between the two local Departments of Industry and Trade is to develop comprehensive cooperation in areas of activities such as industry and commerce, to well exploit available potentials, contribute to socio-economic development.

Both provinces will support, cooperate, promote investment in key industrial and commercial sectors; assisting enterprises in linking, developing and expanding domestic and foreign markets. In particular, the two localities also focused on cooperation in the field of information exchange and experience in improving state management capacity in various fields.

Enterprises and cooperatives of 2 localities introduced their products and hoped to work together to develop the market

Accordingly, two Departments of Industry and Trade agreed, signed comprehensive cooperation in 9 areas.

Firstly, the construction, implementation and management of industrial and commercial development plannings and plans of the two provinces are discussed.

Secondly, mechanisms to attract investment projects on industrial infrastructure development, trade and services; building and developing industrial clusters; wholesale and retail distribution system; processing and preservation systems to improve the quality of agricultural products and goods in the chain of links are exchanged.

Thirdly, development of industries, especially those industries that the two localities have advantages such as processing industry of agricultural products, mechanical industry for agriculture, industry serving export production, import-substituting industry, supporting industry and so on are linked.

Fourthly, the development of energy sources is encouraged; management of economical and efficient use of energy is discussed.

Fifthly, enterprises applying technological innovation towards clean, environment-friendly industries are encouraged; action plans to cope with climate change, environmental protection, sustainable development are implemented.

Sixthly, experiences about industrial promotion to support enterprises to improve machinery and equipment, technology is exchanged and learned, product competitiveness is improved.

Seventhly, trade promotion activities are jointly organized, businesses of the two provinces are supported to link up, develop and expand domestic and foreign markets. Export of key products is promoted, new products for export are developed; wholesale and retail distribution channels to better meet domestic needs and domestic production is developed. E-commerce application is cooperated.

Eighthly, information on smuggling, trade frauds is coordinated to exchange as a member of the Steering Committee 389 of the two provinces.

Ninthly, experience on administrative reform, organizational work and raising the level of state management linking exchange.
