According to the plan, 10 logistics centers will be formed (in the localities: Can Giuoc, Ben Luc, Chau Thanh, Can Duoc, Duc Hue, Tan Tru and Kien Tuong) in accordance with the planning and land use plans of the province and localities to attract investment, contributing to the production of goods, import and export and domestic trade in general and Long An trade in particular, developing transport infrastructure and information technology.

According to the Provincial People's Committee, the logistics projects that have been implemented by investors include: Warehouse and logistics reception area at Long An International Port (Tan Tap commune, Can Giuoc district), belonging to the Long An Port project invested by Long An Port Joint Stock Company, with a scale of about 147 hectares; Logistics and warehouse service center in Thanh Loi commune, Ben Luc district, with a scale of about 16 hectares (Minh Man Long An Production Trading Service Joint Stock Company has invested in an area of 6 hectares; continuing to call for investment in the remaining ảe).
Logistics projects calling for investment until 2025 include: Logistics and warehouse service center in Luong Hoa commune, Ben Luc district, with a scale of about 50 hectares; Logistics and warehouse service center in Phuoc Vinh Dong commune, Can Giuoc district, with a scale of about 71.2 hectares; Logistics and warehouse service center in Hiep Thanh commune, Chau Thanh district, with a scale of about 150 hectares, phase 1 is 25.07 hectares; Logistics and warehouse service center in Phuoc Tuy commune, Can Duoc district, with a scale of about 200 hectares, phase 1 is 75 hectares.

According to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Huynh Van Son, until the end of 2025, the province will focus on calling for investment and attracting investment in logistics projects in the districts: Ben Luc (50 hectares, Luong Hoa commune), Can Giuoc, Chau Thanh and Can Duoc.
From 2026 to 2030, the province will call for and attract investment in the remaining logistics projects in the districts: Ben Luc (10ha of the remaining part of Thanh Loi commune), Ben Luc (10ha, Thanh Phu commune), Duc Hue, Tan Tru and Kien Tuong town.
From 2030 to 2050, the province will focus on reviewing and orienting the development of logistics infrastructure to ensure it is suitable for the socio-economic development situation of the province and in accordance with current legal regulations.
To effectively implement the plan to develop logistics centers in the province until 2030, with a vision to 2050, the Provincial People's Committee has identified a number of key tasks and solutions. Accordingly, the province will study and thoroughly and effectively apply policies and laws regulating the development of logistics services; review and issue documents on logistics service development in accordance with the actual situation and conditions of each locality in the province.
In addition, the province continues to invest in logistics service infrastructure; synchronously completing the logistics transport infrastructure system on the basis of the approved transport development plan.
Focus on effectively implementing projects under the 3 key projects of the Resolution of the 10th Provincial Party Congress: Provincial Road 830 (section from Ben Luc district to Long An International Port); Tan An City Ring Road; National Highway 50B (formerly known as Tien Giang - Long An - Ho Chi Minh City Dynamic Axis) and projects under the Program to mobilize all resources to build transport infrastructure serving industrial development in the province's key economic zones, in order to enhance connectivity, circulation of goods and facilitate the development of logistics services.
On the other hand, the province focuses resources on investing in connection projects of the local transport system with expressways according to the Mekong Delta Regional Planning for the period 2021 - 2030; implements Decision No. 825, dated June 12, 2020 of the Prime Minister on the establishment and promulgation of the Mekong Delta Regional Coordination Council for the period 2020 - 2025.; continues to strengthen cooperation and development links with provinces and cities in the key economic region of the Mekong Delta and other provinces.

According to Mr. Huynh Van Son, along with infrastructure investment, the province focuses on improving the competitiveness of enterprises and developing logistics services; promotes administrative reform, reforming administrative procedures; applies information technology in administrative management, handling administrative procedures; supports, provides information and facilitates businesses to participate in domestic and foreign logistics events and exhibitions such as international commitments on logistics services at the WTO, ASEAN and free trade agreements, thereby supporting businesses to improve their capacity to negotiate, sign, perform contracts, and handle disputes related to logistics activities.
At the same time, the province will support businesses in researching, applying, and transferring technology in logistics activities; support businesses in applying quality management systems, tools to improve productivity and quality of products and goods; encourage joint ventures, associations, and collaborations between businesses in the province, on the basis of exploiting and using existing strengths of businesses to deploy, develop logistics services and expand the scope of business operations; encourage businesses to participate in associations in the supply chain to increase competitiveness; encourage some industrial parks to provide closed logistics services to shorten the time and cost of delivery of raw materials and products.
According to the plan, the province will implement priority support policies for the development of high-quality human resources for the logistics industry according to regulations; continue to cooperate with institutes, schools and vocational training institutions to enhance training and foster high-quality human resources for Long An, especially human resources for logistics services.
At the same time, the province will well implement policies and preferential treatment to attract high-quality human resources, with basic training and professional experience to work according to regulations; research and effectively implement logistics development policies of the Government, ministries and branches; build a logistics information supply channel and disseminate it to logistics enterprises in the province.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities with logistics projects to focus on reviewing and supplementing indicators and adjusting land use planning, updating land use plans, and proposing resettlement plans; coordinate with the Department of Planning and Investment to focus on attracting investment, bidding to select investors in accordance with legal regulations. Departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities must advise on planning and implementing logistics development policies in a synchronous and effective manner./.
