After nearly 25 years of operation, Highway 62 has seriously degraded, the road surface is now small and narrow, and there is often a risk of traffic accidents.

After nearly 25 years of operation, Highway 62 has seriously degraded, the road surface is now small and narrow, and there is often a risk of traffic accidents. Compared to the requirements of socio-economic development, National Highway 62 currently does not have enough capacity, especially in attracting investment in industrial parks in the Border Gate Economic Zone. During holidays, this is also a route with a very large traffic volume.

Relevant units report plans to upgrade and renovate National Highway 62 at the survey

Over the past many years, voters in Long An province have many times petitioned the Ministry of Transport and the Central Government to soon upgrade and expand National Highway 62.
